GPE project meeting in Warsaw
Improved power electronics for more efficient renewable energy plants: this was the core topic that formed the focus of the second meeting of the EU Interreg project, “Green Power Electronics” (GPE). Partners from 14 universities, organisations and companies from the Baltic Sea region - including the Renewable Energy Hamburg Cluster - met at the beginning of March at an event organised by the University of South Denmark and dsn in Warsaw. Together, they are creating a technology roadmap for renewable energy companies in order to improve cooperation in the field of power electronics. Representatives from Denmark, Germany, Estonia and Sweden also presented their pilot projects on semiconductors, e-mobility and smart houses. The next GPE meeting will be held in mid-September in Tartu, Estonia.
