Web-Seminar: The Tetra Spar Concept – Floating Wind Turbines | Episode 4 | Offshore-Trends 2020 |
RWE Renewables and Shell have plans to test the TETRA SPAR Concept of former Siemens Wind Power Chief Engineer Henrik Stiesdal with a prototype. After model tests carried out by Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the floating foundation is expected to arrive at its final destination approximately 10 kilometres off the Norwegian shore close to the harbour city of Stavanger in 2021. The floating foundation will be equipped with a 3.6 Megawatt gearless Siemens Gamesa wind turbine. In this web seminar all project partners will share their perspectives and visions of the TETRA SPAR Concept. |
