Hamburg Offshore Wind Conference 2021: New Momentum for German Offshore Wind |
| The German Government and parliament Bundestag (House of Representatives) at the very end of the year 2020 finally decided on significant changes for the further development of offshore wind in Germany. The installation target1 for offshore wind in 2030 was raised from 15 to 20 gigawatts, which was a long-time industry demand. However, even more significantly, an ambitious installation target was set for the year 2040 at 40 gigawatts for the first time. |
