Premiere: Europe's largest wind conference in Hamburg EWEA and WindEnergy Hamburg 2016 simultaneous for the first time

For the first time ever, the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) will hold its annual trade congress at the same time as the WindEnergy Hamburg trade fair. With this international event, Hamburg is underlining once more its role as the wind capital of Europe. Hamburg's Senator for Economic Affairs Horch said that, “This will strengthen the entire North as a centre of excellence for wind energy.”

For the second time now, WindEnergy Hamburg is to open its doors from 27 to 30 September, 2016. Following the successful premiere in 2014, the Hamburg Fair site is once again a meeting place for energy industry experts from across the globe. WindEnergy Hamburg offers the global industry an optimal platform for dialogue and the presentation of new products and services — at the location of the technological world leader Germany. It reflects the innovative capacity and dynamism of the wind industry in current and future key markets.

The world's largest congress of the wind energy industry is the most important meeting place for the industry according to decision makers of the European wind energy industry, serving as a platform for the discussion of strategic alignments and policy frameworks for wind energy in Europe.
