The cluster Renewable Energy Hamburg and DNV GL host the conference HOW 2017 for the first time together (DNV GL Group)

Tenders – new in the 2016 EEG amendment. In March 2017, new offshore projects will be commissioned for the German North Sea via tender procedures for the first time. The 14th Hamburg Offshore Wind Conference (HOW), for the first time jointly organised by DNV GL and the Renewable Energy Hamburg Cluster, will focus on the core topic: “Offshore wind after 2020 – Tenders as a way to reduce costs?”. The conference will take place on 4 and 5 April 2017 at Hotel Hafen Hamburg.

Gunnar Groebler, Senior Vice President, Business Area Wind, Vattenfall, Michael Hannibal, CEO Offshore, Siemens Wind Power, Enak Ferlemann, State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, as well as Wilfried Breuer, CEO of TenneT Offshore, have already committed as speakers.

What makes HOW stand out are the top-class speakers and contributions with a strong practical focus. Industry experts and politicians discuss current offshore projects from a technical, legal and commercial perspective.
