Hamburg Offshore Wind Conference 2017 First joint conference of DNV GL and Renewable Energy Hamburg Cluster
At the end of 2016, the offshore wind industry in Europe made major progress. The latest tenders for offshore wind farms in the Netherlands and Denmark resulted in very low offers of just 5 to 6 ct per kWh. In this context, DNV GL and the Renewable Energy Hamburg Cluster are organising their first joint “Hamburg Offshore Wind Conference” on 4 and 5 April 2017.
After the welcome speech by Hamburg’s First Mayor Olaf Scholz and Enak Ferlemann, State Secretary in the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy, the first panel discussion with high-ranking participants will be on: “What will the role of offshore wind be in the generation portfolio after 2020?” The following sessions will focus on project development and financing as well as cost reduction. The event will be rounded off by a panel discussion on: “Offshore and the grid: What are the opportunities and limits?”
Organisers: DNV GL / EEHH Cluster
Date: 4/5 April 2017
Venue: Hotel Hafen Hamburg
