FH Westküste – University of applied science
The West Coast University of Applied Sciences is a young, modern and innovative University in northern Germany. The university was founded on the initiative of entrepreneurs and politicians of the region in 1993. Currently there are more than 200 people employed at the university. In the year 2000, the university moved to the actual campus in Heide. The University cooperates closely with the regional economy and maintains numerous national and international relationships, a.o. to 40 partner Universities worldwide. There are currently about 2,000 students registered in 16-degree programs in economics and engineering. The study program is constantly expanded.
