ZAL GmbH

The ZAL Centre for Applied Aeronautical Research is the technology network of aviation stakeholders from Hamburg. From the end of 2014 on, ZAL will offer national and international partners space in the TechCenter for joint research and development activities, thus strengthening the technological expertise of Hamburg as an aviation location. ZAL’s partners include the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Airbus Operations GmbH, Lufthansa Technik AG and the German Aerospace Centre (DLR e.V.), an Association of Friends and four universities in Hamburg: The University of Technology Hamburg-Harburg, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, the Helmut Schmidt University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg and the Universität Hamburg.
