Together for the Energy Transition

The energy transition is one of the biggest challenges of our time—and already a success story: the share of renewable energy in Germany’s electricity consumption rose from 6% (2000) to around 60% (2024). Northern Germany plays a key role in this progress, especially through the expansion of onshore and offshore wind power.

Tutech is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). Our goal is to bring TUHH’s claim, “Engineering to face climate change,” into the business world. We build bridges between research and practice, support innovation, and connect academia and industry—helping to drive the energy transition and develop practical solutions to the challenges of climate change.
