CEBCON Technologies GmbH

CEBCON sustainably integrates residual and waste biomass into regional value chains by converting these materials into fuels and basic chemicals.
For this purpose, CEBCON is developing the standardized, modular r2fuel® production plant for the decentralized and resource-saving production of green methanol.
The r2fuel® plant consists of containerized units and utilizes regionally available biogenic residues and waste materials such as waste wood, agricultural residues or sewage sludge as a renewable carbon source for synthesis. A key innovation of the r2fuel® plants is their energy-optimized process management.
The green methanol produced can be used as fuel for river and coastal shipping or, after further refinement, as sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Methanol also plays a central role as a basic chemical in the plastics industry.
The modular r2fuel® plants can be flexibly installed wherever synthetic fuels from biomass residues and waste are to be produced quickly and directly on site. They offer a sustainable solution – without long construction times and transport routes.
