30 GW in 2030 – Starting Shot for the US Offshore Wind Industry

The United States have set a target of 30 GW of installed offshore wind capacity by 2030 as central element of the newly introduced plans by the Biden Administration to jumpstart offshore wind energy. Significant investments are expected to establish a domestic offshore wind supply chain and upgrade the port infrastructure. New factories for the production of wind turbine nacelles, blades, towers, foundations and cables will be necessary to form the backbone of the industry.

In this webinar, our expert speakers from internationally renowned industry organisations such as Business Network for Offshore Wind and World Forum Offshore Wind (WFO) as well as our member companies Hogan Lovells and DNV will give insights into the latest developments and different perspectives of the US offshore wind market.

Speakers:

Liz Burdock | President & CEO at Business Network for Offshore Wind

Hilary Tompkins | Partner at Hogan Lovells

Jake Frye | Senior Project Manager Offshore Wind at DNV Energy USA

Gunnar Herzig | Managing Director and Co-Founder at World Forum Offshore Wind (WFO)
