Web-Seminar: Energy system of the future – best practices from Denmark

State of Green and the EnergyAgency.NRW invite you to the online event “Energy system of the future - best practices from Denmark” on 8 December to have a closer look at the Danish energy system. Denmark is a worldwide pioneer in renewable energy and the Danish government has set ambitious goals to reach climate neutrality by 2050. The German state of North Rhine-Westphalia promotes a deep structural change for energy production and consumption and is looking for best practice cases.

In this webinar, Danish experts will showcase solutions for a better integration of renewable energy sources in the energy system and for sector coupling like Power-to-X. You will also get an introduction to the innovative energy island project VindØ.

Since 2015, Denmark and North Rhine-Westphalia have had a close collaboration on energy related topics, including exchange of experts and knowledge in relation to business delegations, conferences and trade shows.
