Hydrogen is the great beacon of hope and the "missing link" for completing the energy transition in order to be able to use renewable electricity regardless of location and time. It is also suitable for the climate-neutral operation of sectors that are difficult to decarbonize, such as the extractive and raw materials industries and modes of transport by road, water and air. However, the infrastructure challenges are enormous and there are still legal and economic uncertainties for investors.
