Urban Efficiency Workshop

At the international workshop solutions will be presented and discussed "How do building efficiency and intergrated innovative energy concepts contribute to modern cities?" based on best practice examples in different worldwide regions.

In the workshop program your cooperation partner IBA Hamburg GmbH will focus on their current achievements in urban quartier planning and projects that include modern energy efficient buildings. The international building exhibition (IBA Hamburg) takes place 2013 in the South of Hamburg. The IBA is a partner network with more than 150 partners from fields such as architecture, project development, land owners, building industry and finance. The IBA unites Hamburg’s best known stakeholders that are active in the field of sustainable construction involving renewables and building efficiency.

International speakers from the Norwegian region Akershus and the Oslo Renewable Energy and Environment Cluster (OREEC)will contribute with a presentation of integrated urban solutions including waste to energy and energy efficient buildings. The Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster CCC will showcase their green and smart buildings in Denmark and in particular the Copenhagen city development projects and smart urban solutions.

The workshop ends with a summer BBQ and get-together in the Energy-Bunker-Patio bistro "VJU-IBA".

Renewable Energy Hamburg Cluster Members will receive an individual invitation to the workshop with a exclusive registration-link.
