Rotor Blades of Wind Turbines 2013

The rotor is that component of a wind turbine which converts the flow of an air mass into mechanical rotational energy. Therefore, this component and its interfaces to other plant components are of utmost importance. We invite you to attend its international VDI conference which will address the latest technological developments and new field experience.

This VDI conference will focus on topics addressing the impact of materials on the design of rotor blades, the best cost-to-benefit ratio of materials to produce large rotor blades, increase of quality and extension of service life of rotor blades, damage types found in rotor blades and their root causes as well as novel concepts for more efficient rotor blades.

Veranstalter: VDI Wissensforum e.V.
