International Webinar "Renewable Energies and Hydrogen in Argentina"

With almost eight times the area of Germany, Argentina offers good conditions for energy generation from wind, solar, biomass and hydropower. To date, around 1 gigawatt of renewable energy capacity has been installed, 74 % of which is wind energy and 13 % photovoltaics. The Ministry of Economy has set itself a target of increasing the share of renewables from today's 13% to 20% by 2025. At the same time, Argentina wants to develop the hydrogen industry.

The joint webinar by EEHH and EE.SH aimts to provide a first insight into the energy policy and the renewable energy market in Argentina, introduce support programms for market entry and identify cooperation opportunities. EEHH's member Nordex Group and EE.SH's member H2coresystem will talk about their experiences and current projects in the region.
