At the international workshop solutions will be presented and discussed "How sustainable mobility and energy storage in modern cities can work in the future?“ based on best practice examples in different worldwide regions.

In the workshop program your cooperation partner hySOLUTIONS GmbH will focus on electro and hydrogen powered mobility. The hySolutions GmbH was established as the coordinator of the Electromobility Model Region Hamburg including local public transport, commercial transport, e-bikes and trains. They involve over fivty relevant stakeholders for sustainable mobility solutions in the Hamburg Metroregion, manage the national Clean Energy Partnership and do business development with further international partners.

International speakers from the Norwegian region will contribute with a presentation of their regional solutions for clean transport and Hydrogen projects in the Akershus and Oslo region. The Hamburg based Vattenfall Europe Innovation GmbH will discuss their current objectives to connect energy with urban mobility and the Colorado Clean Energy Cluster (USA) will showcase their Fort Collins Mason Corridor as one Smart Transportation Initiative in the context of growing Urban Densification.

The workshop ends with a business lunch at the hotel restaurant Heimat - Cuisine and Bar and afterwards you are invited to join a site visit to the Hydrogen-Fuel-Station in the HafenCity.
