3rd International Conference Offshore Foundations for Wind Turbines
Konferenz zum Thema Gründungsstrukturen für Offshore Windkraftanlagen. Im Vordergrund steht die Projekterfahrung für den ganzen Lebenszyklus des Fundaments, sowie Prüfungs- und Genehmigungsprozesse in Zusammenarbeit mit den deutschen Behörden, und der Trend zu XL Monopiles. Die Konferenz wird auf Englisch abgehalten.
Optimising offshore foundations is one of the key challenges for reducing the overall CoE, and thus making offshore wind more competitive.
Foundation designershave produced a variety of different solutions – monopiles, gravity-based systems, tripods, jackets and innovative solutions like the suction pile foundations. Which of these are most cost-efficient in different soils and water depths, looking at production cost as well as transport and installation, is still up for discussion.
Before the background of the first installed offshore foundations, it is now time to have a close look at lessons learned and define the room for improvement.
