From 180 GW today to 1,300 GW in 2050: Join Belgian Energy Minister and industry leaders to see how Europe can meet its wind energy goals.

The EU wants wind to be half of Europe's electricity by 2050. And electricity to double its share of the energy mix. That means expanding wind from 180 GW today to 1,300 GW by 2050.

What needs to happen to make good on this? How can we simplify the permitting? What new technology is needed? What about grid investments? And the repowering of existing wind farms? Can the supply chain deliver? How do we keep society on board? And what role will Governments play in all of this?

Tune in on Wednesday 23 June as we sit down with Tinne Van der Straeten (Belgian Energy Minister), Martin Knops (CTO, ZF Wind Power), Mary Thorogood (Global Public Affairs, Vestas), Javier Sanz (Thematic Leader Renewables, InnoEnergy) and Giles Dickson (CEO, WindEurope) to answer these questions.
