Due to the continuously rising importance of wind power to the energy mix, the issue of reliability is creeping up the agenda. Therefore, serious sums are invested in the development of drive train concepts which will push wind turbines into a new phase of improvement and enhance their reliability – driving down the cost of wind power as a result.
